Mayor Laura Hill

On behalf of City of Southlake, I want to extend my warm wishes for Diwali to all the people who celebrate this auspicious festival. Diwali is a Festival of Lights, it’s a time when world’s great faiths celebrate the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance. Diwali is a reminder we must each do our part to achieve that victory, also reflecting on our City’s core values, dedicating ourselves in service to others. Southlake is a great and diverse city, strengthened by contributions of all our people! At this sacred time of the year, let’s join together across the religions and cultures to share the blessings we enjoy and recognize diversity in City of Southlake.
